JENESYS 2012

Do u ever heard about Jenesys? Japan East-Asia Network Of Exchange for Students and Youths is a project advanced by the Japanese government from the standpoint of solidarity between both countries, Indonesia-Japan. It first started on 2007 by prime minister Shinzo Abe.

On this special occasion, My school recommended me to join this program while I don't prepare anything for this. Less than 24 hours! The next day, Me and my partner, Ellen Setianingrum, went to Pekanbaru with all service from our beloved school, Cendana Duri Senior High School.

First Day,
Of course nervous feeling always appear. IQ test, Written test and Speech Contest. Alhamdulillah, I passed! But, so sad to heard that Ellen didn't passed the 1st day. The test is not too hard and not too easy. All in English! so, prepare your self if you wanna try this program!

Second Day,
This day, everyone who passed the 1st test had to wear Office Looks uniform. About uniform, I was good at all :p But, I was the only one who struggling from out area of Pekanbaru. I was an ambassador from Bengkalis Regency. I through each points that I had there. Interview and Talent Show. Interview was good at all. Not too hard to spoke English. The Judges were very kind! They wouldn't kill you! They just asked you about your occupation, the reasons why you participate in, how's your feeling if you aren't pass, and are you deserve to be here". after that, one of them will give you some questions about Malay Culture. OMFG! I didn't know anything about Malay! They asked me, "who the 1st Governor Of Riau, what's the traditional dance of Rohil, and I forgot one else." I didn't answer anything, ahahaha! EPIC FAIL!
Later, Talents Show! oh damn! Others did traditional dance, singing a malay's song, syair-ing, did drama, and their uniform was Malay's dress. how bout me? I just played my guitar while singing, did beatbox and enuff. no more my talent. because they asked me about malay's. As i said before, i have no talent about malay.

time by time had passed. I was the 4th position of the male. it means, I failed on the 2nd day. They just picked 3 mans, and 3 womans. 1 position left of being number 3. Yeah, God has the another plan for me. It's the best way for me. With all sad feeling, we had to go home directly.

Much experienced I had there with all my new friends. From strangers to be new friends.
as I said to the judges, "everyone deserve to be here. Everyone deserve to get a chance and second chance" so why not?
